Exercise
2. Dialogue in iambic pentameter
“Do you know who you’re voting
for Marie?”
“Well, no because I do
not really see
What different it will make
if either wins.
They both are part of the
machine you know.”
“I do not know just what
machine you mean.”
“It’s David Rockefeller and
his mob.
Controlling wealth and markets,
costs of good
in Europe and Japan as well
as here.”
“But what makes you believe
that this is true?”
“Some people starve and some
are millionaires.
Inflation makes my life
feel insecure.
And anyways I heard it on
the news.”
